These radial shaft seals are employed between rotating and stationary machine parts, or between components in relative motion. CRWA1 seals are crafted with a metal case, an SKF WAVE lip made of elastomer for enhanced pumping rate to minimize heat generation, a garter spring for optimal sealing against the shaft, and a dust lip to boost contamination exclusion. Many of these seals come with the SKF Bore Tite coating on the outside diameter, which aids in filling minor imperfections in the housing bore.
